Meet Shanna
With over 13 years of experience baking custom cakes from scratch using only the finest ingredients, Shanna's quality custom cakes have become a favorite in her community. As a mom of 2, Shanna's joy of teaching children to bake inspired her to create after school baking programs for her local elementary school. With her experience in event planning, baking, and working with children, Shanna opened Through The Looking Glass Baking Studio & Cakery in 2022. She offers baking workshops, birthday parties, and camps for all ages in a professional classroom setting - all at her 1000 sq. ft baking studio at 372 Florin Road Sacramento, CA.
Baking Workshops
In our four day workshop, young chefs will explore the world of baking and create a delicious array of sweet treats. Children will be introduced to the fundamentals of baking - from reading and following a recipe to the importance of kitchen safety. Students will enjoy working alongside classmates as we practice making from-scratch versions of favorites such as classic cupcakes, cookies, and doughnuts.
Birthday Parties & Events
Come celebrate your birthday or special event with us! We offer 3 types of cake decorating parties for all ages. Choose from a Cake Decorating Party, Cookie Decorating Party, or Cupcake Decorating Part. All parties include private use of baking studio and party area for up to 20 guests including 12 bakers.
The baking studio is also the perfect place to host your next event. We offer bookings for corporate events, mom's nights out, etc. Book your private event today.
